I’ve seen call-to-actions that almost force the reader to jump through an insane number of hoops in order to get the offer.
Personally, I’m lazy, and I hate to spend (er… I mean waste) my time to get something I want.
For many people – maybe most – if it’s too much work to respond to your offer, then they’ll usually toss it and not respond at all.
The problem is… The purpose of a good call-to-action is to get higher response, not stifle it!
